First Day School at Home

These First Day School lessons teach Quaker faith and practice at home. Begun as a response to the covid-19 pandemic, lesson plans are offered by Providence Friends Meeting.

Themes from fall, 2021 include:

  • Native American faith compared to Quaker testimonies,
  • Sibling Rivalry and the Parable of the Prodigal Son
  • Quaker faith and the Parable of the Good Samaritan
  • Elizabeth Fry and the Prisoners
  • Feeding Hungry Children after World War I
  • Festivals of Light and Gift Giving
