Nine lessons on the early Life of Jesus: The Gifts of the Magi, Jesus as a Boy, The Baptism of Jesus, Jesus in the Wilderness, The Calling and Mission of the Disciples, and The Parables of the Mustard Seed. There is an introductory chapter on “How to Teach Children about Jesus.”

The Friendly Seed is a two-part series centered on teaching children about Jesus. This Seed describes a process for preparing and teaching any Bible story as well as two stories, Zacchaeus and the Good Samaritan, which were prepared by this process. This series is an effort to produce a single resource for Friends who want to concentrate on the New Testament with their children. A second volume, Teaching Children About Jesus, Part II, is also available.
