Conversation Circles: Right Sharing of World Resources, Experiential educational resources for children and adults
September 8 and 10, 2026
R
IGHT SHARING OF WORLD RESOURCES IS AN ORGANIZATION GROUNDED IN QUAKERISM, and called to the right sharing of world resources. RSWR has a global staff focused on two programs: The Power of Enough and Community Development.
Join these Conversation Circles to discuss resources for children and youth such as the Gratitude Calendar, Gratitude Curriculum, an upcoming curriculum on economic unfairness, as well as a variety of games about sharing from Right Sharing of World Resources. These were developed and shared out of the RSWR mission that, “We are called to the right sharing of world resources, from the burdens of poverty and materialism into the abundance of God’s love, to work toward equity and lives of dignity through partnerships with our human family throughout the world.”
Perhaps most known for work with groups of women in Guatemala, India, Kenya, and Sierra Leone, RSWR also partners with people to reflect on the burdens of materialism, exploring abundance, scarcity, generosity, gratitude, and the power of enough. As part of the latter work RSWR develops, shares, and facilitates educational programming for people of all ages such as those we’ll discuss in the circle.
If you’re an adult and want to engage (aside from this circle), sign up for the upcoming online workshop “Money, Self, and Community” starting September 17th (learn more and register here). Nathan will be co-facilitating with RSWR board member Carolyn Lejuste. There’s also an ongoing monthly gathering, Right Sharing Conversations. On September 15th, RSWR’s Executive Director Traci Hjelt Sullivan will host a conversation titled, “Lessons from Guatemala.”
QUERIES
-
How can we balance our use of time, energy, money, and “things,” to free ourselves to contribute to-right order in our world? How can we guide children and youth in our meetings to explore this balance?
-
How does your faith impact your relationship with money? Where is it easy to feel faithful around money, where is it hard? How can we help children and youth in our meetings develop a healthy perspective about money and possessions?
-
What does it mean to be a good neighbor? With children and youth in our Meetings, how can we cultivate a spirit of mutual belonging and sharing from our abundance?
