Quaker Friendly Songs: The short list

November Conversation Circles

W

OULDN’T IT BE WONDERFUL IF THERE WAS A SHORT LIST OF SONGS ALL QUAKER KIDS COULD SING when we gather? Singing together sweeps us up into the Spirit, opens our hearts, and builds the beloved community. Quaker songs are also an effective way to teach our history and practice to Friends young and old. To help it happen, QREC is creating a webpage with a short list of favorite songs, some specific to Quakers and some general songs that are known and loved by Quakers. The page will have printable lyrics and links to recordings to help you learn the tune.

Join this conversation to learn more and share your ideas, insights, experiences for singing among Friends.
