WOULDN’T IT BE WONDERFUL IF THERE WAS A SHORT LIST OF SONGS THAT QUAKER CHILDREN COULD ALL SING WHEN WE GATHER? Singing together sweeps us up into the Spirit, opens our hearts, and builds the beloved community. Quaker songs are also an effective way to teach our history and practice to Friends young and old.
Use the following list of titles, recordings and lyrics to teach favorites to Friends, young and old. Recordings, included to provide the tune, come from a variety of sources including professional musicians and the Atlanta Friends Meeting First Day School. Printable lyrics are also included for each song.
